Effective Tuesday, October 13, 2026, diesel went down ₱3.01 per liter, gasoline went up ₱1.56 and kerosene went up ₱1.77, as announced by the Department of Energy.
| Brand | Diesel | Gasoline | Kerosene |
|---|---|---|---|
| All companies (DOE) | −₱3.01 | +₱1.56 | +₱1.77 |
The Department of Energy reported the range across all oil companies in its weekly Oil Monitor: diesel rollback of ₱3.00 to ₱3.02, gasoline increase of ₱1.50 to ₱1.56, kerosene increase of ₱1.70 to ₱1.77 per liter. The figures above fall within it.
Why prices moved: Dubai crude rose about $0.30 a barrel. International gasoline rose about $2.00 a barrel and diesel fell about $4.20. The peso weakened from ₱62.60 to ₱62.74 per US dollar, which makes imported fuel more expensive. That is why diesel went down even though crude rose: pump prices follow international diesel prices more closely than crude. The week before (October 6, 2026), diesel went down ₱1.30 per liter, gasoline went up ₱1.90 and kerosene went up ₱3.30. By October 13, 2026, gasoline had gone up 2 weeks in a row, diesel had come down 3 weeks in a row and kerosene had gone up 2 weeks in a row. From January 1 to this week, the Department of Energy counted 41 price adjustments, leaving gasoline up a net ₱73.15, diesel up a net ₱61.83 and kerosene up a net ₱63.76 per liter. For a 40-liter gasoline fill-up, that meant ₱62.40 more; for a 60-liter diesel tank, ₱180.60 less.
In Metro Manila that week, DOE monitoring found diesel from ₱85.70 to ₱96.20 per liter, RON 91 gasoline from ₱79.20 to ₱98.07 and RON 95 from ₱80.00 to ₱102.80 (DOE report).
