The Professional Regulatory Board of Midwifery has released the revised program for the Midwives Licensure Examination this April 2026. The exam is set on April 14 and 15, 2026. Midwives licensure exam schedule for April 14-15, 2026
The exam runs over two days. Day 1 has four sessions; Day 2 has two. Here’s the official program from PRC:

Midwives licensure exam April 2026 results
PRC typically releases midwifery board exam results within three to five working days after the last exam date. Once the official list is out, we’ll update this page right away.

What subjects does the midwifery board exam cover?
There are five main subjects: Obstetrics, Fundamentals of Health Care, Infant Care and Feeding, Primary Health Care, and Professional Growth and Development.
In addition to those, the exam weaves eight more subjects throughout both days. They don’t appear as standalone sessions, but questions from each can show up anywhere. Specifically, those subjects are Fundamentals of Sociology, Principles of Bacteriology, General Anatomy and Physiology, General Psychology, Nutrition, Parasitology, Microbiology, and Pharmacology. Don’t skip them in your review.
What to bring on exam day
Pack everything the night before. Here’s the complete list from PRC:
- Notice of Admission
- Two or more No. 2 pencils
- Ball pens with black ink only
- One long brown envelope
- One long transparent (non-colored) plastic envelope
- Packed snacks, meals, and medications in clear or transparent containers
- Enough drinking water for the full day
Food delivery is not allowed once the exam is in progress. Similarly, you cannot leave the room during testing, except for restroom breaks. So bring everything you need for the entire day.
Items prohibited inside the exam room
The PRC will conduct bodily searches per Memorandum Order No. 57, s. 2020. Confiscation is automatic for any of the following:
- Review materials, books, notes, and coded data sheets
- Calculators (all types, no exceptions)
- Smartwatches (Apple Watch, Samsung, and similar devices)
- Cellphones, earbuds, Bluetooth devices, and transmitters
- Bags of any kind (backpack, shoulder bag, ladies bag, attaché case)
- Any other electronic gadget that can store or transmit data
Your personal belongings are your own responsibility. The PRC is not liable for anything lost during the exam.
Important reminders before exam day
Wear your college uniform. PRC Resolution No. 311 (May 18, 1994) requires this. No uniform means no entry. There are no exceptions.
Check your building assignment at prc.gov.ph two to three working days before April 14. Bring your Notice of Admission when you verify. After that, visit the venue in person so you know exactly where to go on exam day.
Arrive before 6:30 AM on Day 1. You need to verify your room and seat number on-site before testing begins. PRC will not admit late examinees. That rule is firm.
