The Department of Energy reported the range across all oil companies in its weekly Oil Monitor: diesel increase of ₱10.00 to ₱10.68, gasoline increase of ₱3.50 to ₱3.65, kerosene increase of ₱11.60 to ₱11.77 per liter. The figures above fall within it.

Why prices moved: Dubai crude rose about $9.40 a barrel. International gasoline rose about $10.00 a barrel, diesel rose about $23.60 and kerosene rose about $25.30. The peso weakened from ₱61.52 to ₱61.63 per US dollar, which makes imported fuel more expensive. (Trading week of July 13 to 17, 2026; figures from the Department of Energy's Oil Monitor.)

The week before (July 14, 2026), diesel went up ₱4.60 per liter, gasoline went up ₱1.00 and kerosene went up ₱2.30. By July 21, 2026, gasoline had gone up 2 weeks in a row, diesel had gone up 2 weeks in a row and kerosene had gone up 2 weeks in a row. From January 1 to this week, the Department of Energy counted 29 price adjustments, leaving gasoline up a net ₱49.92, diesel up a net ₱50.43 and kerosene up a net ₱48.39 per liter. For a 40-liter gasoline fill-up, that meant ₱146.00 more; for a 60-liter diesel tank, ₱640.80 more.
