The Department of Energy reported the range across all oil companies in its weekly Oil Monitor: diesel increase of ₱3.80 to ₱3.90, gasoline increase of ₱2.40 to ₱2.50, kerosene increase of ₱5.00 to ₱5.01 per liter. The figures above fall within it.

Why prices moved: Dubai crude rose about $8.90 a barrel. International gasoline rose about $6.50 a barrel, diesel rose about $11.40 and kerosene rose about $11.50. The peso weakened from ₱60.91 to ₱61.18 per US dollar, which makes imported fuel more expensive. (Trading week of August 10 to 14, 2026; figures from the Department of Energy's Oil Monitor.)

The week before (August 11, 2026), diesel went down ₱4.30 per liter, gasoline went down ₱4.70 and kerosene went down ₱4.90. From January 1 to this week, the Department of Energy counted 33 price adjustments, leaving gasoline up a net ₱53.82, diesel up a net ₱56.75 and kerosene up a net ₱50.65 per liter. For a 40-liter gasoline fill-up, that meant ₱99.60 more; for a 60-liter diesel tank, ₱230.40 more.
