Effective Tuesday, October 27, 2026, diesel went up ₱1.20 per liter, gasoline went down ₱0.30 and kerosene went up ₱0.50, as announced by the Department of Energy.
| Brand | Diesel | Gasoline | Kerosene |
|---|---|---|---|
| All companies (DOE) | +₱1.20 | −₱0.30 | +₱0.50 |
The Department of Energy reported the range across all oil companies in its weekly Oil Monitor: diesel increase of ₱1.20, gasoline rollback of ₱0.30, kerosene increase of ₱0.50 per liter. The figures above fall within it.
Why prices moved: Dubai crude rose about $4.10 a barrel. International gasoline fell about $2.45 a barrel and diesel rose about $6.40. The peso weakened from ₱62.90 to ₱63.25 per US dollar, which makes imported fuel more expensive. That is why gasoline went down even though crude rose: pump prices follow international gasoline prices more closely than crude. The week before (October 20, 2026), diesel went up ₱2.60 per liter, gasoline went down ₱4.30 and kerosene went down ₱1.00. By October 27, 2026, gasoline had come down 2 weeks in a row and diesel had gone up 2 weeks in a row. From January 1 to this week, the Department of Energy counted 43 price adjustments, leaving gasoline up a net ₱68.55, diesel up a net ₱65.63 and kerosene up a net ₱63.26 per liter. For a 40-liter gasoline fill-up, that meant ₱12.00 less; for a 60-liter diesel tank, ₱72.00 more.
In Metro Manila that week, DOE monitoring found diesel from ₱89.90 to ₱99.30 per liter, RON 91 gasoline from ₱75.10 to ₱92.30 and RON 95 from ₱75.50 to ₱98.20 (DOE report).
